COMMON SUBMISSION FAQs
Can I submit a paper or artwork that I've written or created for a class at school?
Absolutely. We welcome any scholarship, written reflections, art, or photography. We want The Field to be a venue for students to be able to share their own exceptional work, and become inspired by other scholars, writers and artists, which includes work you may have completed for school.

What are examples of work I can submit?
Some examples of genres of work you can submit are: works of historical, art historical, or literary research, social commentaries, personal essays, humorous or satirical pieces, interviews, long-form journalistic profiles, art, photographs, and poems. If you have any further questions about this, please send us an email at (support@thefieldjournal.org).

When should I submit work to be considered for an issue?
Whenever! We select works on a rolling basis, and are always happy to add more work to an issue, or the next. We publish quarterly: in September, December, March and June.

What can I do if I'm unable to get access to a source I want to use to do research?
You can send us an email (support@thefieldjournal.org), and we might have access to it, and be able to send it to you. We're very happy to help!

Can I submit research and writing on the sciences or mathematics?
Yes! While we primarily publish works related to the arts and culture, we're happy to consider and publish work of other topics in special issues.
Can I resubmit a paper after editing it?
Definitely! We're happy to help you with any questions you have about this process too! Feel free to email (support@thefieldjournal.org) for additional feedback on your work.
